LANDSDÆKKENDE UNDERSØGELSE OM FAGPERSONERS FREMME AF GODE BØRNEFÆLLESSKABER I BØRNEHAVER OG INDSKOLINGEN
- Hvordan arbejder fagpersoner i børnehaver og indskolingen med at opbygge gode fællesskaber blandt børn?

Disse spørgsmål skal besvares af fagpersoner i børnehaver, indskolingen og i fritidsordninger i en landsdækkende elektronisk spørgeskemaundersøgelse, der gennemføres i foråret 2019.

I foråret 2019 gennemfører Institut for Læring ved Ilisimatusarfik en landsdækkende elektronisk spørgeskemaundersøgelse blandt fagpersoner i børnehaver, indskolingen og fritidshjem. Undersøgelsens formål er at bidrage til viden om fagpersoners praksis med at fremme børns sociale kompetencer og gode børnefællesskaber i børnehaver og indskolingen med særlig fokus på erfaringer med at arbejde med Kammagiitta. Kammagiitta er et program, der består af en række pædagogiske redskaber til at styrke børns fællesskaber og forebygge mobning. Programmet har været brugt i børnehaver, fritidsordninger og skoler rundt omkring i landet siden 2011. Mary Fonden, LEGO Fonden, Red Barnet, kommunerne, KANUKOKA og Naalakkersuisut har stået bag virkeliggørelsen af Kammagiitta – Fri for Mobberi i Grønland.
Spørgeskemaet indeholder en række spørgsmål om institutionerne, fagpersoners erfaringer med Kammagiitta og arbejdet med at fremme af gode børnefællesskaber blandt børn i børnehaver, indskolingen og fritidsordninger. Til sidst er der nogle spørgsmål om trivsel og mobning i institutionerne.
Undersøgelsen giver mulighed for at få en vigtig indsigt i fagpersoners arbejde med at fremme børns fællesskaber og kan dermed bidrage med vigtig viden til gavn for den fremtidige forebyggelse af mobning og fremme af børns trivsel i børnehaver, skoler og fritidsordninger.
Undersøgelsen gennemføres én gang i perioden maj-juni 2019. Undersøgelsen gennemføres blandt alle børnehaver, skoler og skolepasninger i hele landet (i alt ca. 400 personer).

Undersøgelsen følger universitets retningslinjer for ansvarlig forskningspraksis og er anmeldt til Datatilsynet. Alle besvarelser bliver behandlet fortroligt og alle deltagere i undersøgelsen er sikret fuld anonymitet. Resultaterne af undersøgelsen bliver analyseret på gruppeniveau, således at hverken fagperson eller institution kan genkendes i resultaterne. Data bliver opbevaret i overensstemmelse med gældende lovgivning og overholder de nye persondataregler (GDPR). Det er naturligvis helt frivilligt at deltage, og man kan til enhver tid trække sig ud af undersøgelsen. Resultaterne fra undersøgelsen offentliggøres i internationale forskningstidsskrifter samt ved udgivelse og forsvar af ph.d.-afhandlingen.
Spørgeskemaundersøgelsen indgår som en del af et ph.d.-projekt ved Institut for Læring, Ilisimatusarfik og Institut for Uddannelse og Pædagogik ved Aarhus Universitet.
Ph.d.-projektets overordnede formål er at belyse fremme af mental sundhed og trivsel blandt børn i Grønland på politisk niveau og på praksis niveau. Gennem analyse af nationale og kommunale politiker og strategier inden for førskole og skoleområdet undersøges, hvordan fremme af børns mentale sundhed og trivsel prioriteres og problematiseres på det politiske niveau. Hvordan en politisk prioriteret indsats for at fremme børns trivsel er implementeret i praksis belyses ved at undersøge fagpersoners erfaringer med at fremme børns fællesskaber gennem den landsdækkende intervention Kammagiitta. Gennem observationer, interviews og en spørgeskemaundersøgelse blandt fagpersoner i børnehaver og skoler undersøges fagpersoners tilegnelse, praksis og læringsudbytte af interventionen, samt oplevelse af virkning for målgruppen.
Undersøgelsen skal danne grundlag for det videre arbejde med at forbedre praksis og styrke den fremtidige fremme af trivsel og mental sundhed blandt børn.
Projektet er startet op juni 2014 og forventes afsluttet primo 2020.
Departementet for Uddannelse, Ilisimatusarfik, Aarhus Universitet og Mary Fonden har bevilget penge til forskningsprojektet.
